Bitte beachten Sie: Das bei neueren Windows-Versionen betriebssystemseitig mitgelieferte "Outlook New" (früher "Windows Mail") ist mit den Mailsystemen der HHU leider nicht kompatibel. Microsoft bietet hier keine Möglichkeit zur Eingabe der Unikennung, daher lässt sich bei dem Programm kein IMAP-Abruf des Postfachs einrichten. Das klassische Office-Outlook st von diesem Problem nicht betroffen. Please note: Unfortunately, “Outlook New” (formerly “Windows Mail”), which comes with newer versions of Windows, is not compatible with the HHU's mail systems. Microsoft does not offer the option of entering the university ID, which is why it is not possible to set up IMAP access to the mailbox with this program. The classic Office Outlook is not affected by this problem. |
Diese Anleitung beschreibt die Ersteinrichtung von Outlook mit einem Exchange-Konto der HHU. Wenn Sie bereits ein Profil in Outlook eingerichtet haben, folgen Sie bitte der Anleitung Outlook-Profil neu einrichten (für Exchange-Konten).
These instructions describe the initial setup of Outlook with an HHU Exchange account. If you have already set up a profile in Outlook, please follow the instructions for setting up a new Outlook profile (for Exchange accounts).
Öffnen Sie die Systemsteuerung. Stellen Sie die Anzeige (finden Sie oben rechts) ggf. auf "Große Symbole". Klicken Sie auf "Mail (Microsoft Outlook)".
Open the system settings. If necessary, set the display (located at the top right) to “Large icons”. Click on “Mail (Microsoft Outlook)”.
Es öffnet sich nun ein neues Fenster "E-Mail". Klicken Sie hier auf "Hinzufügen".
A new “E-mail” window will now open. Click on “Add” here.
Geben Sie nun einen beliebigen Profilnamen ein und klicken Sie auf "OK".
Now enter a profile name of your choice and click on “OK”.
Es öffnet sich nun ein Fenster "Konto hinzufügen". Geben Sie hier einen Namen für das Mail-Konto ein, Ihre E-Mail-Adresse und das Unipasswort. Dann klicken Sie "Weiter".
An “Add account” window will now open. Enter a name for the mail account, your e-mail address and the university password. Then click "Next".
Es öffnet sich nun ein Fenster "Windows-Security". Wenn Ihnen über dem Feld "Kennwort" Ihre E-Mail-Adresse anstatt der Kennung angezeigt wird, klicken Sie auf "Weitere Optionen" und dann "Anderes Konto verwenden".
A “Windows Security” window will now open. If your e-mail address is displayed above the “Password” field instead of the identifier, click on “More options” and then “Use another account”.
Geben Sie bei "Benutzername" Ihre Unikennung ein, bei "Kennwort" Ihr Unipasswort. Setzen Sie ein Häkchen bei "Anmeldedaten speichern". Klicken Sie dann auf "OK".
Enter your university ID under “Username” and your university password under “Password”. Check the box “Save login data”. Then click on “OK”.
Wenn alle Häkchen grün sind, können Sie die Kontoeinrichtung mit "Fertig stellen" abschließen.
When all the ticks are green, you can complete the account setup by clicking “Finish”.
Überprüfen Sie abschließend noch im Fenster "E-Mail", ob das von Ihnen eingerichtete Outlook-Profil bei "Immer dieses Profil verwenden" eingestellt ist.
Finally, check in the “E-mail” window whether the Outlook profile you have set up is set to “Always use this profile”.
