Schritt 0: Löschen Sie, wenn Sie bereits mit Eduroam verbunden waren, alte Eduroam-Profile.
Bitte beachten Sie, falls Sie auf dem Campus sind müssen Sie Ihr Gerät nun auf anderem Wege mit dem Internet verbinden z.B. mit HHU, HHU-Gast, einem Hot Spot oder mobilen Daten.

Step 0: Delete old eduroam profiles if you have ever been connected to eduroam. 
Please note that if you are on campus, you must now connect your device to the Internet in another way, e.g. with HHU, HHU-Gast, a hot spot or mobile data.

Schritt 1: Öffnen Sie https://www.easyroam.de/. Klicken Sie oben rechts auf „Anmelden”.

Step 1:   Go to https://www.easyroam.de/. Click "Anmelden" in the top right corner.

 Schritt 2: Wählen Sie die Heinrich-Heine Universität aus.

Step 2:  Choose the Heinrich-Heine University.

Schritt 3: Melden Sie sich mit Ihrer Unikennung (1) und Ihrem Passwort (2) an. Klicken Sie auf "Annehmen".

Step 3: Log in with your university username (1) and password (2). Click on “Accept.”

Schritt 4: Geben Sie die Informationsübertragung frei, indem Sie auf "Akzeptieren" klicken.

Step 3: Allow your account information to be used.

Schritt 5: Klicken Sie auf unterhalb des Windows Loga auf "Windows x64 Windows 10,11" Anschließend wird eine Installationsdatei heruntergeladen. Öffnen Sie diese.

Step 5: Click on “Windows x64 Windows 10,11” below the Windows logo. An installation file will then be downloaded. Open it.

Schritt 6: Gegebenenfalls erhalten Sie eine Sicherheitswarnung, die Sie mit OK bestätigen müssen. 

Step 6: If necessary, you will receive a security warning that you must confirm with OK. 

Schritt 8: Installieren Sie die Applikation.

Step 8: Please Install the application.

Schritt 9: Wählen Sie "Anmelden".

Step 9: Choose Sign In.

Schritt 10: Wählen Sie die Heinrich Heine Universität.

Step 10: Choose Heinrich Heine Universität.

Schritt 11: Melden Sie sich mit Ihrer Unikennnung und Passwort an.

Step 11: Log in using your credentials.

Schritt 12:  Im anschließenden "Home" Bildschirm wählen Sie "Neues Profil installieren".

Step 12: Choose "Neues Profil installieren".

Schritt 13:  Bestätigen Sie den Vorgang. Ggf. muss nach Abschluss der Installation das Gerät einmal neu gestartet werden.

Step 13: Accept the process. It may be necessary to restart the device after the installation has finished.

Schritt 14:  Wenn Sie einen grünen Balken sehen, wurde das Zertifikat erfolgreich installiert. Sie können sich jetzt mit "eduroam" Wlan verbinden.

Step 14: If you see a green bar the certificate has been installed successfully. You can now connect your device with the "eduroam" wifi. 

Wichtiger Hinweis:

Denken Sie daran, dass Sie das eingerichtete Zertifikat alle 3 Monate neu anfordern müssen. Dazu öffnen Sie die Applikation (je nach Betriebssystem) und wählen unter Verwalten bzw. beim entsprechenden Zertifikat Neu Anfordern.

Important Note:

Remember that you must request a new certificate every 3 months. To do this, open the application (depending on the operating system) and select Request new under Manage for the relevant certificate.

Schritt 1: Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Windows-Taste und die Taste R, sodass sich das Fenster "Ausführen" öffnet.

Step 1: Press the Windows key and the R key simultaneously to open the "Run" window.

Schritt 2: Geben Sie in das Eingabefeld (1) den Befehl "cmd" ein und bestätigen Sie (2) mit "OK".

Step 2: Enter (1) the command cmd in the input field and confirm (2) with "OK".

Schritt 3: Geben Sie in die Kommandozeile den Befehl netsh wlan delete profile eduroam* ein und bestätigen Sie mit der Enter-Taste.

Step 3: Enter the command netsh wlan delete profile eduroam* in the command line and confirm with the Enter key.
