Setting up a Thunderbird Account with your university email address
This document explains how to set up a new university email account using Moziall Thunderbird. Run Thunderbird and click on one of the top elements on the left (such as "Local Folders"). You can then select "Create a new account":
Skip the search for a new email address:
Enter your first name(s) and surname and your university email address (which you will have received in a letter from the university). Enter your password (as selected by you when you first activated your university username) and click "Continue":
Thunderbird will now try to determine the remaining settings automatically. Please wait until this process has finished. Then select "Manual config" in order to modify the settings:
Please enter the following details (including your password if you are on your private computer) and enter your university username (this is important):
Done.
