Diese externen Zusatzanwendungen erfordern in der Regel eine Registrierung bei dem jeweiligen Anbieter. Die anfallenden Daten werden nicht bei Webex, sondern beim jeweiligen Anbieter abgespeichert.
Aus Datenschutzgründen wird daher dringend von der Nutzung dieser externen Zusatzanwendungen abgeraten!
Im Zweifelsfall wenden Sie sich bitte an die/den Datenschutzkoordinator:in Ihrer Fakultät bzw. Einrichtung oder die Stabsstelle Datenschutz der Universitätsverwaltung.
Update Mai 2024: Mit Ausnahme von Slido und Shared Timer wird die Nutzung von allen externen Anwendungen von Seite der HHU jetzt blockiert. Slido und Shared Timer sind Angebote von Cisco und dürfen daher im Rahmen von Webex genutzt werden.

In the desktop app, Webex has integrated some applications from external providers.
Please note:
These external additional applications usually require registration with the respective provider. The resulting data is not stored by Webex, but by the respective provider.
For data protection reasons, the use of these external additional applications is therefore strongly discouraged!
In case of doubt, please contact the data protection coordinator in your departement or institution or the Data Protection Office of the University Administration.
Update May 2024: With the exception of Slido and Shared Timer, the use of all external applications is now blocked by the university. Slido and Shared Timer are services from Cisco and may therefore be used within the framework of Webex.
