ACHTUNG: Sollten Sie in der Vergangenheit auf Ihrem Gerät schon einmal eine eduroam-Verbindung eingerichtet haben, sollten Sie zunächst das alte Profil löschen.

ATTENTION: If you have already set up an eduroam connection on your device in the past, you should first delete the old profile.

Schritt 1: Öffnen Sie die Webseite easyroam.de und suchen Sie nach Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düssseldorf. Klicken Sie darauf, um weiterzukommen.



Step 1: Open the web page easyroam.de and search for Heinrich-Heine-University Düssseldorf. Now click it to get rerouted.

 Schritt 2: Sie sollten sich nun auf der Shibboleth-Anmeldemaske befinden. Verifizieren Sie sich mit (1) Ihrer Uni-Kennung und dem (2) dazugehörigen Passwort.

Sie erfahren folgend welche Informationen an den DFN-easyroam Dienst übermittelt werden. Klicken Sie um weiterzukommen auf "Aktzeptieren".



Step 2: Now on the Shibboleth login mask log in with (1) your university username and the (2) corresponding password.

You will then be informed which information is transmitted to the DFN-easyroam service. Click on "Accept" to continue.

Schritt 3: Nun auf der Startseite der easyroam- Webseite, klicken Sie auf "Manuelle Optionen".



Step 3: Now the easyroam home page you can switch to English on "Sprache: Deutsch" in the bottom right corner if you like. Then click on "Manuel Options".

Schritt 4: Wählen Sie "Mobile-Config (Apple)", geben Sie dem nun einzurichtenden Zertifikat einen eindeutigen Namen und klicken Sie dann auf "Zugang generieren".

Erlauben Sie "www.easyroam.de" einen Download vorzunehmen.



Step 3: Select "Mobile-Config (Apple)", give the certifcate you are now installing a clear name and click on "Generate profile".

Allow "www.easyroam.de" to download a file.

Schritt 5: Sobald der Download abgeschlossen ist, informiert Sie eine Benachrichtigung der Systemeinstellungen oben rechts darüber, dass das Profil nun in diesen gefunden und installiert werden kann.

Bei älteren Betriebsystemsversionen müssen Sie eventuell vorher noch auf die geladene Datei im Download-Ordner klicken.



Step 5: As soon as the download is complete a notification of the system settings in the top right-hand corner informs you that the profile can now be found and installed.

For older versions of macOS, you may need to click on the downloaded file in the download folder beforehand.

Schritt 6: Öffnen Sie die Systemeinstellungen, öffnen Sie den Bereich "Datenschutz & Sicherheit", scrollen Sie herunter und klicken Sie unter "Andere" auf "Profile".



Step 6: Open the system settings, open "Privacy & Security", scroll down and under "Others" click on "Profiles".

Schritt 7: Doppelklicken Sie auf das geladene eduroam- Profil und dann auf "Installieren...". Sollte Ihr WLAN ausgeschaltet sein, werden Sie darauf hingewiesen und ein zweites Mal gefragt. Klicken Sie auch hier auf "Installieren".

Ihr Gerät fragt nun nach dem Gerätepasswort (oder Fingerabdrück), um die Installation des Profils zu erlauben. Ferig!



Step 7: Double click on the loaded eduroam profile and then on "Install...". If your WiFi is turned off the next window will tell you so and ask you again. Click "Install" again.

Your device will now ask for the device's password (or your fingerprint) to authorise the installation of the profile. Done!

Schritt 1: Klicken Sie oben links auf das Apfel-Symbol (1) und wählen Sie "Systemeinstellungen" (2) aus.


Step 1: Click the apple icon (1) in the upper left corner and select "System Preferences" (2).

Schritt 2: Klicken Sie auf "WLAN" (1) und dann auf "Erweitert..." (2).


Step 2: Click on "WIFI" (1) and then on "advanced..." (2).

Schritt 3: Suchen Sie "eduroam" in der Liste und klicken Sie auf die drei Punkte (1) und dann wählen Sie "Aus Liste entfernen" (2) aus.


Step 3: Search for "eduroam" in the list and click on the three dots (1) and then select "Remove from list" (2).

Schritt 4: Bestätigen Sie den Prozess mit "Entfernen" und klicken Sie anschließend auf "Fertig".


Step 4: Confirm the process with "Remove" and then click on "Done".

Schritt 5: Gehen Sie in den Einstellungen auf "Datenschutz & Sicherheit" (1) und scrollen Sie ganz nach nach unten und klicken Sie auf "Profile" (2).


Step 5: In the settings, go to "Privacy & Security" (1) and scroll all the way down and click on "Profiles" (2).

Schritt 6: Klicken Sie auf das Profil "Eduroam" (1) und dann auf "-" (2) um dieses zu entfernen.

Schritt 7: Bestätigen Sie den Prozess mit "Entfernen".

Das Profil wurde entfernt.
