Samplitude professional / MAGIX Samplitude
is a computer program made by MAGIX for recording, editing, mixing, mastering and outputting audio. Samplitude Pro X4 Suite also includes a variety of high-quality built-in effects, including the AM-munition Compressor/Limiter, the AM-Suite (Analogue Modeling Suite), and Vandal (Guitar and Bass Amp simulator). Samplitude also includes the essentialFX Suite, which are 10 plug-ins using high quality algorithms that have low resource demands |

3. | a) |  Whenever you want to listen via the loudspeakers, please press this "Play Mode" button.

If the speakers seem too, you can press this button to turn them down
(this button only works if "Play mode" has been already been activated). |

N.B.: if your recording sounds distorted at this volume, please adjust the output volume in the recording software. (this button only works if "Play mode" has been already been activated) |
| d) |  If you want to listen via headphones, you can mute the loudspeakers and the microphones with this button.

| e) |  Since our external sound card (RME UFXII) does NOT play the Windows sounds by default, you can use this button to make the sound from web pages or other applications (PowerPoint/ VLC, etc) audible.

4.a) | |  for one voice, you can choose between microphone 01 (mounted on the table) and microphone 02 if a standing position is preferred.
For microphone 01, please press this button. It woll mute the speakers and the second microphone channel.
Please press the button "Mic 1Rec" for recording without effects. |

|  Pressing the "Mic 1Rec Loud" button, raises the volume of your voice using a compressor effect. This will create a difference in the perceived volume, but also in the voices timbre.
n.b.: you can now listen to your recording directly via headphones.

| |   For microphone "Mic 2"(which can be used to record the voice of someone standing up), please press this button. This will mute the speaker and the first microphone channel.
Please press the button "Mic 2Rec" to record without effects. Pressing the "Mic 1Rec Loud" button, raises the volume of your voice using a compressor effect.
